At the same time, I listen to my intuition that there is something I need to do and complete tasks.
For instance, our garage door was not shutting completely on the cement floor on left side. I even tried to step the door shut with my foot down. It did not work.
How did it happen? I recall that our electricity was down due to bad storm last November 2015. And we wanted to go out and have dinner at a restaurant. Yes, garage door depends on electricity and it was not safe for me to pull down the red/orange string since it was way too high.
So, I lifted the garage door up. And we were able to get out of the house.
As a result, cable on the right side was messed up.
So, I followed my intuition that I ought to contact the garage door technician to come over and repair that cable. And adjust the door, so it can be completely shut every time when we leave and arrive home last March.
Reason why I felt an urge to take care of that was because I don't want any insects and worms to come under the door especially during Spring season.
Of course, we had a few dead worms that entered through an ajar door. And I had to swept them out.
Beside the garage door, I also followed my intuition that I need to have other technician to come over and repair our 15+ years old side by side refrigerator. Why? That refrigerator had water leak in the corner beneath the freezer, which started last November.
To resolve that problem, I had to kneel down on the hard wooden floor and used my hair dryer to have a thick layer of ice to be removed. And I even made sure that the hole on the bottom of the freezer is clear to let water to drop through.
I took care of that twice. I was puzzled since I want to have this problem to be resolved. And I was having problem with ice maker, which ice cubes will not go down, as I pressed the glass against the rubber square.
Every time I want to have some ice cubes in glasses, I had to open the freezer door and collect as much as I need. And then close the door. What a hassle!
So, I had no choice to hire a technician to come over and take a look.
That technician did a GREAT job since he was able to resolve two problems! He had to use defrost equipment to make sure that the hole on the bottom in the freezer is completely clear. And he installed insulation behind the ice maker. And he repaired the cavity, so the ice cubes were able to go down.
So, that marked off a list of what I need to take care of!
In addition, I was going to look for a new wooden floor to be put on the floor in the living room.
Unfortunately I had an intuition that there is something that I really need to take care before it gets worse. Oh boy! What was it??
It's Japanese Knotweed. That kind of plants are really invasive!! And it is getting out of control! It spread to the lawn, toward the side of yard and the asphalt in the front of the house.
My project of that invasive plants is to have them to be removed completely. It is ongoing project. It might take a few years to get rid of them.
Some of you might have numerous of projects in houses and yards, best way to examine on yourselves based on which project you need/want to take care and to complete is to follow your intuition.
